The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
